The purpose of the parent association is to provide a structure through which the parents/guardians of children attending Gaelscoil Thulach na nÓg can work together for the best possible education for their children. The parent association will work with the board of management, principal and staff to build effective partnership of home and school.
Officer Position holders are in their second consecutive year. It is advised that these positions are not held for more than three consecutive years.
We welcomed new members to our committee this year 2024/2025. It is open to all and committee members at present represent most class standards in the school.
Class reps have also been set up to relay any pertinent message to parents via the class WhatsApp group.
The principal also attends all PAC meetings. These meetings are held monthly to review and progress. Decisions are made by those in attendance to enable the tasks to be completed in a timely manner.

- Liaise with principal, secretary , parents etc on other matters pertaining to school
- Smaller fundraising activities - Bogh Báistí na Páistí, Cake Sale
- School Bunting purchased for the school
- Helping with planting in the School Garden
- Participation in Dunboyne St Patricks Day Parade 2025
- Informal get togethers for parents - cupán tae at art exhibition / Football Final etc
- School Lotto Fundraiser - Monthly lotto fundraiser
- Parent voice for matters brought forward in relation to any issue - most recently New Smart Phone Policy
